No explicit statement about online marketplaces or unauthorized sellers was found. The Broan-NuTone warranty page limits coverage to products sold to original consumers in the United States and requires evidence of the original purchase date. The PurePower user guide (AB0039) warrants only the 'original consumer purchaser', says NuTone 'reserves the right to limit this warranty if the product is not registered', requires 'evidence of the original purchase date', and says 'do not return your unit to place of purchase' (service goes through an authorized Service Center). IMPORTANT: all three PurePower units (PP5501/PP6501/PP7001) are marked 'Product Discontinued' on broan-nutone.com, and the site's central-vacuum accessory pages carry the notice 'Broan-Nutone central vacuums and accessories are now owned by Drainvac' linking to drainvac.com; the Drainvac URL for the NuTone line given in that notice (https://www.drainvac.com/ca/en/residential/nutone/) returned 404 on 2026-10-17, so current warranty administration for these models is unclear.
