How we make money
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
CentralVacuums.co is reader-supported. When you click a link to a retailer on this site and buy something, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.
Which links are affiliate links
Buttons labeled "Check price on Amazon," "See it at [retailer]," and similar are affiliate links. We mark them with "(affiliate links)" text or a tooltip, and they open in a new tab. Links to other pages on this site, to manufacturer websites, and to sources are not affiliate links.
How this affects our recommendations
It doesn't change what we recommend. Our editorial policy is that a product earns a place on this site based on our testing, the manufacturer's documentation, and verified compatibility, never on commission rate. When the best choice for you is a product we cannot earn from, such as a dealer-only brand, we say so and tell you where to get it.
What we never do
- Accept payment for placement, rankings, or scores.
- Publish prices or availability from Amazon except through Amazon's own data feed, which is clearly marked and timestamped.
- Reproduce Amazon customer reviews or star ratings.
- Hide that a link earns us a commission.
Free or loaned products
If a manufacturer provides a product for review at no cost, the review says so at the top. We do not promise coverage or a favorable verdict in exchange for a product.
Other affiliate programs
We may participate in additional affiliate programs with retailers and manufacturers. The same disclosure and the same editorial rules apply.
