Who this powerhead is for
The Wessel-Werk EBK 341 is for someone who already has a corded electric setup: a 120V electric hose whose handle has an outlet, and a 1.25 in button-lock electric wand with a cord that reaches the nozzle. If your old head in that setup has died, this is a direct candidate. It is the corded member of Wessel-Werk’s EBK 340 family and is made in Germany.
It is not a candidate for flush integrated or quick-disconnect wands, and it does not come with a wand at all.
What the specs tell you
Retailers list a 12 in width, automatic height adjustment, a fiberglass-reinforced geared belt, a 360-degree double swivel neck with a release pedal and a chevron-V nylon brush roll. Twelve inches is a common width that balances coverage against fitting between furniture. Automatic height adjustment means the head floats to the carpet rather than you choosing a setting, which is convenient but gives you less control on very deep pile. A geared (toothed) belt does not slip and generally outlasts a round rubber belt. The chevron pattern on the brush roll is designed to sweep debris toward the center of the nozzle.
Not published: weight, motor power, brush speed, noise and whether there is a headlight. The sources are retailers; no Wessel-Werk page is in the record.
Why choose a corded head over an integrated-wand head? Mostly because that is what your system already has. Corded setups put the 120V outlet at the hose handle and run a separate cord down the wand; integrated-wand setups hide the conductors inside the wand. Neither cleans better. The corded style is older and more common on systems installed before flush-plug hoses became standard, which is why a head like this exists as a replacement part.
Fit and compatibility
Power arrives through a pigtail cord on the nozzle that plugs into a 120V outlet on the electric hose handle; the hose gets its 120V from a direct-connect inlet or its own pigtail at the wall. The nozzle neck accepts a 1.25 in button-lock wand, the type with a spring button that clicks into a hole. It does not accept quick-disconnect wands, and it has no integrated wand of its own.
Not compatible with low-voltage or air-only hoses.
What’s in the box, and what you still need
The record does not itemize contents; the product is the nozzle only. You need a 1.25 in button-lock electric wand (with its own cord if the hose outlet is at the handle), a 120V electric hose and a power unit. No belt part number is in the record.
Warranty and support
Retailers cite both 5 years and 1 year, so the record records no term. Wessel-Werk USA is in Mooresville, North Carolina, but no support URL is on file and the company’s position on marketplace purchases is unknown. Ask the seller for the warranty in writing and keep the receipt.
Living with it
Clear hair and thread from the brush roll regularly; a geared belt will not slip, so a jam loads the motor. The 360-degree swivel lets the head turn fully around furniture legs. Because the height adjusts automatically, there is nothing to set, but check that the brush still spins freely on your thickest carpet. Identify the belt part number from the head when it arrives.
