"Not yet verified" means the manufacturer has not published the figure or we could not confirm it. We never fill a gap with a guess; our own measurements are added once a unit has been tested hands-on.

Who this unit is for
The VacuMaid SR800 is for the largest homes, rated by VacuMaid for 12,000 sq ft, and for any system with a long, demanding pipe network. It uses an 8.4 in motor, the biggest in our records, and a 38 qt bag capacity to match. It is built by Lindsay Manufacturing in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
If your home is under about 8,000 sq ft, the SR66 uses the same bags, runs 10 dB quieter and takes less wall. The SR800 is for when you need the reach.
What the specs tell you
VacuMaid’s product page attribute fields list 713 air watts, 147 in of water lift and 142 CFM at 15 A from an 8.4 in, 2-stage tangential bypass motor rated for about 1,500 hours. Air watts predicts carpet cleaning at the tool; 713 is near the top of our records. Water lift is sealed suction for long runs and climbs; 147 in is the highest VacuMaid figure and matches OVO’s 750 units. CFM is airflow; 142 is the highest VacuMaid publishes.
The same page’s description and VacuMaid’s category table give a second set: 760 air watts, 150 in, 137 CFM and 13.8 A. Either set is top-tier. The record uses the attribute fields.
Noise is 68 dB with vented exhaust, 10 dB above the SR66. That is the trade for the bigger motor.
Collection is bagged only, with HPB2H multi-layer HEPA-style bags into a 38 qt capacity, 11 qt more than the SR66. HEPA-style means bag filtration, not a sealed HEPA exhaust. A bypass motor keeps cooling air separate from the dirt stream.
Weight is not published. The spec sheet is a download link the record could not text-extract.
Fit and compatibility
Standard 2-inch pipe, wall bracket mount. VacuMaid lists low-voltage and direct-connect electric inlet compatibility. Plug-in 120V at 15 A (or 13.8 A per the alternate figures); not hardwired. On a shared 15 A circuit that draw leaves little margin, so give it its own.
Exhaust outside is recommended and the noise figure assumes it. Dimensions are 16.125 in diameter by 39 in high; this is a wide unit, so check door and stud spacing.
What’s in the box, and what you still need
The record lists nothing specific as included beyond the unit. Not included: hose and attachments, pipe, fittings and inlets. Confirm with the seller whether a bracket and starter bag ship with it. Add HPB2H bags, an exhaust cap and, at 68 dB, a muffler.
Warranty and support
VacuMaid’s product page states a 10 Year Limited Lifetime Warranty: lifetime limited on the canister, 10 years on the motor and internal electrical, original owner, US-sold units. Non-transferable; void if serviced by anyone other than an authorized dealer with replacement parts; claims go first to the authorized dealer-installer.
VacuMaid’s warranty page does not mention Amazon or unauthorized sellers. Lindsay Manufacturing sells at least one VacuMaid unit on Amazon directly, so check the seller on your listing.
Living with it
Maintenance is HPB2H bag changes into a 38 qt capacity, so changes are infrequent even in a very large home. The record gives no interval; go by suction at the far inlet. The bypass motor tolerates a late change better than a thru-flow design.
At 68 dB vented, this is a garage unit. Vent it outside and add a muffler if the garage shares a wall with living space.
What we’d verify before buying
- Air watts, water lift, CFM and amps: two conflicting sets on VacuMaid’s own pages.
- Weight: not published.
- Spec sheet contents: not extracted.
- What ships in the box; the record lists nothing.
- Circuit: 15 A draw per the attribute fields; confirm it gets a dedicated circuit.
- Amazon seller name.
