"Not yet verified" means the manufacturer has not published the figure or we could not confirm it. We never fill a gap with a guess; our own measurements are added once a unit has been tested hands-on.

Who this unit is for
The OVO 700ST-35H is for owners of larger homes who want one unit to cover a long pipe network and do not want to pick between bags and bagless up front. OVO rates it for about 8,000 sq ft and up to 8 inlets, which puts it in the upper half of the residential units we have on file. The 35 L canister is the larger of OVO’s two sizes, so you empty it less often than the 25 L models with the same motor.
It is a replacement or new-install power unit. It does not come with a hose, floor tool or any pipe, so budget your shopping list accordingly. If you have an existing system with standard 2-inch pipe and low-voltage inlets, this bolts on in place of the old unit.
What the specs tell you
OVO’s spec sheet lists 700 air watts and 140 in of water lift from a single 2-stage, 5.7 in thru-flow motor with soft start and stop. Air watts is the combined measure of airflow and suction, and it is the number that best predicts how well a powerhead will pull dirt out of carpet. Water lift is sealed suction; it is what keeps a system pulling when the air has to climb two floors and turn a dozen elbows. At 140 in this unit has real headroom for long runs, which is why OVO is comfortable rating it for 8 inlets.
The 63 dB rating is one of the lower numbers in our records for a full-size unit. Noise is measured at the unit, and the unit lives in a garage or basement, so this matters most if the mounting wall backs onto a bedroom or office.
Collection is hybrid cyclonic. You can run the canister empty-and-dump style or drop in an FD-22.5L disposable bag. The trade-off is simple: bagless means no consumables but a dustier emptying job; bagged means a clean change and a steady supply of bags to buy. The FP-12 washable permanent filter is mandatory in both modes.
Two things are not published: CFM and unit weight. CFM is the airflow half of the air-watt figure and would tell you more about how the unit handles a bare-floor tool with lots of airflow and little resistance. Weight matters when you are choosing mounting hardware for a stud wall.
Fit and compatibility
The unit is built for standard 2-inch central vacuum pipe. OVO lists both low-voltage and direct-connect electric inlet systems, and the unit ships with a low-voltage wire socket for the 24V control wiring. Power is a plug-in 120V unit with an attached 6 ft grounded cord; OVO’s manual specifies a 15 A, 110-120 VAC circuit. It is not hardwired.
Exhaust outside is recommended, not required. OVO does not include an exhaust vent cap, so plan for one if you are venting out. The unit mounts on OVO’s MUSUP wall bracket, which ships packed inside the canister. Dimensions are 12.91 in deep by 30.20 in high by 12.52 in wide; check that your wall has that height plus room beneath to drop the canister.
What’s in the box, and what you still need
In the box: the power unit, the MUSUP wall bracket (inside the canister), one FD-22.5L disposable filtration bag, the FP-12 permanent filter, the attached 6 ft grounded power cord, and a low-voltage wire socket.
Not included: hose and attachments (unless you buy the hose-kit variant), PVC pipe, fittings and inlets, and an exhaust vent cap. For a replacement job you will usually reuse your pipe and inlets and need only a hose and floor tool that match your inlet type. For a new install, add an installation kit sized to your inlet count.
Warranty and support
OVO covers the motor, electronic module, body and dust bin for 10 years on parts, with 1 year of labor. A paid extension to 25 years is offered. Conditions: the warranty is for the original owner and is non-transferable, proof of purchase is mandatory, and OVO’s warranty page also asks for the installation invoice from a qualified installer. The permanent filter must be replaced every 2 years and bags changed at least twice a year, or coverage lapses. Registration is offered but is not stated as a requirement.
OVO’s warranty and manuals say nothing about online marketplaces, so a marketplace purchase is neither excluded nor explicitly covered. Keep your invoice. OVO (Nadair, Laval, Quebec) notes that no replacement parts or repair service is available in Quebec after the sale.
Living with it
Bags are OVO FD-22.5L (5.8 gal). The permanent filter is the FP-12, machine washable, replaced every 2 years under the warranty terms. In bagless mode you lift the 35 L canister off, dump it, and rinse the filter as needed; in bagged mode you swap the bag at least twice a year. Soft start and stop means the motor does not slam on and off, which is easier on the belt and brush of an electric powerhead.
At 63 dB the unit is on the quiet side, but mount it on a wall that does not share a stud bay with a living space if you can.
What we’d verify before buying
- Unit weight: not published.
- CFM: not published.
- HEPA rating: not stated.
- Whether this model is still in OVO’s current lineup, since it was absent from the storefront in October 2026. The model code itself was inferred by matching the spec sheet to the listing.
- Whether OVO honors the warranty on a marketplace purchase; OVO’s documents do not address it.
- Which variant you are buying: the vacuum-only pack or the hose-kit pack.

Frequently asked questions
Does the OVO 700ST-35H come with a hose and attachments?
No. The vacuum-only version ships as the power unit, bracket, one bag, the permanent filter and the power cord. OVO sells a hose-kit variant, so check which listing you are buying.
Can I run the OVO 700ST-35H without a bag?
Yes. It is a hybrid unit. You can empty the 35 L canister directly or fit an FD-22.5L disposable bag. Either way the FP-12 permanent filter must stay in place.
How many inlets can it support?
OVO's spec sheet rates this model for up to 8 inlets and about 8,000 sq ft.
Does it need to vent outside?
OVO recommends venting the exhaust outside but does not require it. An exhaust vent cap is not included.
What electrical circuit does it need?
OVO's manual calls for a 15 A, 110-120 VAC circuit. The unit has an attached 6 ft grounded cord and plugs into a standard outlet.
How often do I change the bag and filter?
OVO's warranty requires bags be changed at least twice a year and the permanent filter replaced every 2 years.
