Who this unit is for
The OVO 700ST-25H is the middle of OVO’s line and the one most larger homes will land on. OVO rates it for about 7,000 sq ft and 7 inlets. It carries the same 2-stage, 700 air watt motor as the 700ST-35H but in the shorter 25 L canister, so it fits under lower ceilings and shelves while giving up some capacity between emptyings.
Buy it as a bare replacement unit on an existing 2-inch system, or pair it with an installation kit for a new build.
What the specs tell you
OVO’s spec sheet lists 700 air watts and 140 in of water lift from a 2-stage, 5.7 in thru-flow motor with soft start and stop. Air watts predicts how hard a powerhead pulls on carpet; water lift is sealed suction and governs reach through long, climbing pipe runs. 140 in is comfortably above the 122 in of the single-stage 630 and gives this unit its 7-inlet rating.
OVO rates it at 63 dB, the same as the 700ST-35H, and quieter than either 750 unit. The motor is the same part; the canister does not change the noise rating here.
Collection is hybrid cyclonic. Bagless uses the 25 L canister; bagged uses an FD-12.5L (3.2 gal) disposable bag. The washable FP-8 permanent filter is mandatory. The smaller bag is the real trade against the 35 L unit: same power, roughly half the bag volume, so more frequent changes.
CFM and weight are not published. CFM would tell you about airflow for bare-floor tools; weight would help you size bracket fasteners.
Fit and compatibility
Standard 2-inch pipe. OVO lists low-voltage and direct-connect electric inlet systems, and a low-voltage wire socket is in the box. Power is plug-in 120V with an attached cord on a 15 A circuit per OVO’s ST-series manual. Not hardwired.

Warranty and support
OVO: 10 years on parts, 1 year labor, optional paid 25-year extension. Original owner, non-transferable, residential only. Proof of purchase is mandatory and OVO’s warranty page asks for an installation invoice from a qualified installer as well. Unauthorized repair voids coverage. The permanent filter must be replaced every 2 years and bags changed at least twice a year.
OVO’s warranty page and manuals say nothing about marketplace purchases either way. Registration is available but not stated as required. OVO states that parts and repair service are not available in Quebec after sale.
Living with it
Consumables: FD-12.5L bags and the FP-8 permanent filter. Expect bag changes more often than twice a year in a home near the 7,000 sq ft rating. The filter is machine washable and must be replaced every 2 years under the warranty. In bagless mode, dump the canister outside and rinse the filter often.
At 63 dB it is one of the quieter full-size units, but a garage or utility wall is still the right place. Soft start and stop is easy on electric powerhead belts.
